Hello and Welcome to our page!!
The Morris Brothers have been playing bluegrass & bluegrass gospel music for over 30 years. Mike & Matt Morris were raised up around the Elk River area of West Virginia. They moved to the Aynor/Cool Spring area of South Carolina about 24 years ago. They have opened up for such bands as Rhonda Vincent, Reno Brothers, Mountain Heart, Larry Stevens and Grandpa Jones. They have played at festivals with various bands such as Grasstowne, IIIrd Tyme Out, Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen and Kenny & Amanda Smith. Mike & Matt are self taught artists that have learned their music together. They enjoy their time together as brothers. The Morris Brothers play for the love of the music. This is truly obvious with them on stage. They have the combination of hard driving instrumentation and brother harmonies that makes them a pleasure to see on stage.
The Morris Brothers added Tammy Holt as their bass player to the group in October of 2007. Tammy truly enjoys playing with Mike & Matt.
The Morris Brothers welcomes William Hardee to the group on fiddle and mandolin. William is from Loris, SC. Mike, Matt & Tammy are very happy with the addition of William. More information on William forthcoming!! Welcome William!!!
